Shakib’s Red team secures comfortable victory in first practice match

In the first practice match before the start of the tri-series, Shakib’s Red team has won convincingly against Mashrafe’s Green team.

After losing the toss, Shakib’s Red team were put into bat first and courtesy of Tamim Iqbal’s outstanding knock of 104 runs and Mahmudullah Riyad’s 84 guided the team to a massive score of 320 runs.

In reply, the Green team could manage to scored only 183 runs in 43.2 overs before getting bowled out. Mushfiqur Rahim who batted for the second time scored 44 runs which is the highest individual score for the Green team. Mohammad Mithun’s 32 and Nasir Hossain’s 25 was something to be mentioned in the long batting order.

Before that, Tamim scored unbeaten 104 runs from 119 balls for Red team and after losing some quick wickets, Mahmudullah stood on top and scored 87 runs. For the Green team, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed and Mohmmad Saifuddin all picked up 2 wickets each.

While on the other hand for the Red team, the duo Rubel Hossain and Abu Haider Rony destroyed the Green team. They both picked up 3 wickets each which helped the Red team to secure a comfortable victory in the end.
