Ricky Ponting picks the most dangerous player from Mumbai Indians

The head coach of Delhi Capitals, Ricky Ponting is one of the most successful coaches in the Indian Premier League. Ponting would look to change the fortunes of Delhi Capitals and would guide them to win their maiden title this year.

Ricky Ponting, who led Mumbai Indians to the title as a coach, picked the most dangerous player from the Mumbai Indians franchise ahead of IPl 2020. the former Australian cricketer did not hesitate to pick Rohit Sharma as their most dangerous player.

Rohit Sharma was the one who took the captaincy from Ricky Ponting in IPL 2013. Since then, he never looked back as he won four titles as a skipper in the history of Indian Premier League.

The right-handed batsman is the third-highest run-getter in the history of the tournament with 4898 runs at a massive strike rate of 130. He also won an IPL trophy as a player for Deccan Chargers before donning the Mumbai Indians jersey.

Rohit Sharma is arguably one of the best batsmen in the modern-day international cricket. Rohit, who played 224 ODIs, 108 T20I and 32 Tests, has become one of the best openers in the limited-overs format.

The defending champions of IPL will play their first game against their rivals, Chennai Super Kings on 19th September. The skipper of Mumbai Indians, Rohti Sharma would look to start their IPL campaign with a winning note.
