Rohit Sharma showed the world why he is ranked World No.2 batsman. With 2 centuries and a half century to his name in the tournament so far, Rohit Sharma is going places.

When other batsmen struggled to get starts or score runs, Rohit Sharma calmly went about his business and scored a staggering 122 against South Africa in team’s first match of the series where he was named the man of the match.

In the team’s second match against Australia, he scored a decent 57 to his name and in the game against Pakistan, he chipped in with a century, making it 24th to his tally and was named man of the match.

Rohit stands second on the list

Right now, Rohit Sharma stands second on the most runs scored in the tournament with 319 runs to his name in 3 matches whereas Aaron Finch stands first on the list with 343 runs in 5 matches.

In Yuvraj Singh’s classy tweet, Yuvi winds the clock back when he and his brotherman Rohit Sharma once conversed over the batsman starting in matches but not being able to convert that into big knocks.

Yuvraj then went on to give Rohit the same piece of assurance that he once got from legendary Sachin Tendulkar before he went on to win Player of the series in 2011 as India clinched the World Cup after 28 years.

Now, Yuvraj Singh has high hopes and expectations from Rohit Sharma in the ongoing World Cup as Yuvi wants Rohit to be a legend.

“Chatting to Rohit at ipl time ! Discussion about getting starts but not getting big runs , and I was like you don’t know what lies ahead of you it’s happening for a reason! Same words told to me by @sachin_rt before 2011 wcup , my mos of 2019 prediction from india @ImRo45,” Yuvraj Singh tweeted.
