Mumbai Indians have been one of the most successful team in the Indian Premiere League (IPL) since the beginning of the tournament. Ahead of the eleventh season the most exciting domestic cricket tournament, the franchise brought Bangladesh pacer Mustafizur Rahman to their side to strength the squad.
Meanwhile, the Mumbai skipper Rohit Sharma has revealed what was the main reason behind bringing the young sensational bowler to his team. He said, “Mustafizur, as we have seen in the recent past, he has got great variations in his armory and he’s someone who can be a little unpredictable at times and that is what we want.”
The 30-year old skipper also added that his side don’t want to be a predictable team and he believes Mustafiz helps in that particular thing. “We don’t want to be predictable as a team. Mustafizur brings that to your table. We are looking forward to that,” said Rohit Sharma.
Mustafiz was a key performer for his past team Sunrisers Hyderabad in his maiden season of the Indian Premier League (IPL).His 17 wickets from 17 matches helped the Sunrisers lift the trophy for the first time in their history.
However, Mustafiz could not do well in the last season of the tournament as he was dropped from the playing after not being able be economical with the ball in his first match.
