Rohit Sharma’s sarcastic birthday wish to Shardul Thakur
India’s Shardul Thakur is celebrated his birthday today as he turned 28. Countless wishes kept pouring in for the birthday boy but little did he know that he would receive a sarcastic wish from Indian vice-captain Rohit Sharma.
Yes, Hitman Rohit Sharma was in the news once again as he took a dig at his Mumbai teammate Shadul Thakur while wishing him on his birthday.
The India opener recalled the time when Thakur wore the No. 10 jersey which previously belonged to the one and only legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar.
Rohit Sharma’s caption read: “Many happy returns of the day buddy. Only the second player to wear the jersey. It takes guts to don that number but clearly you’re the best example of Impossible Is Nothing @imShard.”

Along with the captain, Rohit also posted a photo of the right-arm pacer donning the Indian jersey with No.10 on his back. Rohit Sharma was quite remarkable in the first Test against South Africa at Visakhapatnam.
When he was given the chance to open the batting line-up, he grabbed the opportunity in both hands and did justice to his score, scoring a century in each of the innings, becoming only the first Indian opener to achieve the feat after 41 years.
However, he couldn’t replicate the same tactic in the second Test where he got out cheaply for 14 runs, the only innings in which India played. However, he will be looking forward to strengthening his batting average in the third Test match which starts on October 19 at Ranchi.
