Dhaka Division-Dhaka Metro
In the second round of National Cricket League (NCL), two of the biggest giants – Dhaka Metro and Dhaka Division are facing off each other at the Khan Saheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatullah. But at the end of day 1, the first one’s power is looking totally faint as not only two of the Dhaka Division’s batsmen scored tremendous centuries but they took their team’s score up to 360, losing just 2 wickets. Rony Talukder, who made a double ton in the first round, got back to pavilion today with another glorious innings of 163. Abdul Majid, the other centurion has scored an unbeaten 173 and will come out to bat tomorrow once again with an eye on converting his century to a double century. None of Dhaka Metro’s bowlers could create much impact on their opponents while Elias Sunny and Shahid bagged one wicket each.
