Rubel and co dedicate song to late Ayub Bachchu

Rubel Hossain with his other team-mates who were part of the practice match against Zimbabwe XI in Chittagong dedicated a song to late Aayub Bacchi, who passed away couple of weeks ago.

Ayub Bachchu was regarded as one of the legendary musician of Bangladesh and the country was shook with his sudden death. He was the founder member of the band Love runs blind and he was also the lead guitarist of the band Souls.

The musician died at the age of 56 on 18th October, 2018 due to cardiac failure.  In the past, he was admitted to the CCU of a hospital in Dhaka in November 2012 for the accretion of water in his lungs.

The songs that Ayub Bachchu sang ages ago is still in the hearts of the people of Bangladesh and with the players of Bangladesh, it is no different.

Pacer Abu Haider Rony posted a video on his facebook where  he sang Ayub Bachchu’s one of the most popular song “Hashte Dekho Gaite Dekho” along with Rubel Hossain, Fazle Rabbi and Nazmul Hossain Shanto.

Meanwhile, in the practice match against Zimbabwe in Chittagong, Rubel led BCB XI in the 3-day practice match. The first two days were interrupted by run and the match ended in a draw in the end. Zimbabwe played 48 overs and scored 145 runs losing 5 wickets while BCB XI were only able to bat 18 overs and they managed to score 56 runs losing 2 wickets.

The first Test match between Bangladesh and Zimbabwe will begin on 3rd November at the Sylhet International Stadium.
