Sachin picks best five best all-rounders he has played with or against
Indian great Sachin Tendulkar’s 47th birthday came amid a stalemate caused by the coronavirus. Considering the situation, one of the best batsmen of all time, did not celebrate his birthday. Speaking on a show with India’s popular sports channel Star Sports, Sachin Tendulkar revealed the names of the top five all-rounders he has seen. He picked those with whom he has played cricket.
Tendulkar picked Kapil Dev, Imran Khan, Sir Richard Hadlee, Malcolm Marshall and Ian Botham as hif favorite all-rounders of all time. “I grew up watching the world’s top five all-rounders play,” said Sachin.
“I played with one of them, with Kapil Dev. On my first tour of Pakistan, I played against Imran Khan. I will keep him in two.”
Sachin Tendulkar made his Test debut against Pakistan at the age of 16. Kapil Dev was in the Indian team on that tour, Pakistan played under Imran Khan. Tendulkar picked the other three all-rounders and said, “I played against Sir Richard Hadlee in my second tour (New Zealand) and I will keep him in the top three. In Australia, I played against Malcolm Marshall and Ian Botham.”
“These five all-rounders are the best I’ve grown up watching, with whom I played with or against in my career.”
