So, he picked two teams for the final spot where he thinks either New Zealand or Pakistan will go into the semi-finals of the premier tournament. Over the years, the cricket has seen vast improvisations and the teams are getting more and more competitive game after game, fixing the leaks then and then.

“India, England, Australia should be in the semis. The fourth could be one of New Zealand or Pakistan,” Sachin Tendulkar added.

The premier tournament is going to be the best one keeping in mind that there are competitive teams that can cause upset on their day. It is better not to write off even Afghanistan or Sri Lanka.

The showpiece event is scheduled to be held on May 30 in England and Wales with England taking on South Africa at The Oval. India will commence their World Cup 2019 campaign against South Africa on June 5 at Rose Bowl Cricket Ground.

Sachin talks about Dhawan

When asked whether the man of ICC tournaments, Shikhar Dhawan should bat as deep as possible, Sachin had a very interesting answer to the question.

He said: “Yes, of course. A left-right combination always helps because that means the bowler has to adjust his line every now and then and the (bowling) captain has also to keep thinking. And if there is a partnership the job becomes even more tougher. So, yes, it is important for a left-hander to be there to put pressure on the leg spinner or for that matter any bowler.”
