Sachin's son Arjun bowls in net to Indian women Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar bowled to Indian women cricketers during net practice sessions before the country’s team appeared in the final of the ICC Women World Cup, 2017. India was narrowly defeated by England falling short of 9 runs.

The video of Arjun Tendulkar bowling to Veda Krishnamurthy in nets in Saturday went viral afterwards.

The 17 year old teenage prodigy has had records of bowling to England man’s team in the nets in recent past. Arjun even injured Johnny Bairstow hitting him with a toe crusher Yorker.

The son of the legend took 8 wickets conceding 22 runs while playing for Dhirubhai International School against Jamnabai Nursing School.

During his U-14 level playing for Mumbai, Arjun scored his maiden century for Khar Gymkhana.

Indian women suffered a shock in the final against host England at Lord’s in Saturday when they lost their last 7 wickets in 28 runs. The thrilling edges of the match led England to win the title of the Women’s World Cup.
