Saha tests positive for Covid-19

Indian Premier League (IPL) has been hit with an another Covid-19 outbreak as Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha has tested positive for COVID-19.

SRH have been the third team recently who are affected with the coronavirus positive cases. SRH will have a match later today against Mumbai Indians (MI) in Delhi which is fully uncertain now and another postponement maybe coming soon.

Earlier, three members from the Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) IPL contingent – CEO Kasi Viswanathan, bowling trainer Lakshmipathy Balaji and a transport cleaner – have tested positive for Covid-19.

The IPL league match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has been rescheduled as several players have been found ill. Tomorrow’s match between CSK and Rajasthan Royals (RR) has also been postponed due to CSK camp go under quarantine for a week.

Apart from this, it was also reported that 5 members of the Arun Jaitley Stadium staff have also tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.
