Saif to miss the Ireland series

Bangladesh A team arrived in Sylhet on Sunday to play a four-day match against Ireland A but before the start of the series, the captain of Bangladesh A team Saif Hassan has been ruled out of the series after he collided with Al-Amin during fielding practice on Sunday afternoon. 

He was taken to the hospital and after the scan, the report suggests that he’s not only in doubt for the four-day match but for the whole series because of severe injuries on the nose.

The team manager and selector Habibul Bashar has informed that replacement of Saif Hassan is yet to be announced. 

The series between Bangladesh ‘A’ and Ireland ‘A’ will start from October 11 at Sylhet International Stadium. The ‘A’ team will start with a four-day match starting from tomorrow. 

Then will be held on 17th, 19th, 21nd, 24th and 26th, in the five one-day series. One-day matches will be played at Sheikh Kamal International Stadium and it’s academy ground in Cox’s Bazar.

Saiful Hasan and Nayeem Hasan joined the ‘A’ team after finishing the five-match ODI series with the Under-19 team in Afghanistan in Sylhet.
