Team physicians accused Saifuddin for playing matches hiding the injury that provoked his illness. Saifuddin himself admitted the fact said he could not prevent himself playing in the Dhaka Premier League (DPL) as he was in good run of form.

“I generally love to play in any match,” Saifuddin said.

“Moreover I was in good form at that period of time and could able to do whatever I wanted to. I have not have any five wicket haul in List A cricket previously which I captured this year. That was the reason behind not being able to quit play despite having injury troubles,” he said.

It is also reported that now Mohammad Saifuddin will have to travel to England for treatment.
