Samuels wishes to join Pakistan army, wins hearts of millions in Pakistan

Samuels travelled to Lahore to take part in the PSL final; a video released by his franchise Peshwar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi, the 36 year old Caribbean batsman is seen saying, “For me, it’s more than just coming to Pakistan to play a game of cricket. It is the significance and success of the team and smiles on the faces of people that are said. I am a Pakistani at heart and that is why it didn’t take me long to decide to come to Pakistan (for PSL final).”

In the later part of the video, Marlon, addressing to Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staffs, said, “General, I’m just waiting for the metal badges in my shoulder. I would want to be a part of the Pakistan army. Cricket should definitely come back to Pakistan. I will continue to come back to this country till I die.”

Peshwar Zalmi owner Javed Afridi tweeted vigorously in response of Samuel’s words, “We, Pakistanis will never forget your sacrifices your golden words are a message for the world that we are a peace loving nation and we love cricket.”
