Schedule for Asia XI vs World XI series

Cricket fans are eagerly waiting to watch the two-match T20I series between Asia XI and World XI which is scheduled to be played at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. The schedule for the same has been announced. The two intriguing matches are scheduled to be played on March 18 and 21 respectively.

Schedule for Asia XI vs World XI series

Previously, one of the matches between Asia XI and World XI was planned to be staged at the newly-built Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad. Nonetheless, due to some delays in the construction process, the match will not be played at the renovated stadium in Gujarat.

In addition to that, the opening game clashes with the dates of the third ODI match between India and South Africa. The last game of the three-match ODI series will be held at the home of cricket, Eden Gardens on March 18, which is also the date of the first T20I between World XI and Asia XI.

If reports doing the rounds are to be believed then, the Motera stadium will have the largest seating capacity of 1.1 lakh, also making it the largest cricket stadium in the whole world.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India had announced that it will release as many as five players for the all-star clash.

As per the reports, President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, will also be present to inaugurate the newly-built stadium during his visit to India on February 24.
