After some off days, men in blue are back into the action with their campaign opener of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 against South Africa in Ageas Bowl. The opponents are in a tough situation coming into the game after losing back to back matches in their first two games of the tournament.

But the Protea batsmen had the same problem in their third match of the tournament too. After electing to bat first, South Africa managed to set a target of 228 to men in blue after a heavy top order collapse.

On the other hand, Indian star pacer Jasprit Bumrah bowled a magnificent spell in his debut World Cup game, picking up two wickets in the ten overs he bowled giving away only 35 runs.

In his spell, the right arm pacer picked up the wicket of South African wicket keeper Quinton de Kock. Former Indian player made a funny tweet on the dismissal quoting Bumrah’s kind gesture on de Kock during the final of IPL 2019 when failed to collect a ball which ran away for four.

The former right handed batsman quoted, “23 days ago some mercy and amazing gesture for de Kock, but today no mercy.” This has been going viral among the fans.
