Shadab likely to miss first ODI against Zimbabwe

Pakistan vice-captain Shadab Khan will be unavailable for selection for the first ODI of the series against Zimbabwe. This leg-spinning all-rounder is suffering from a leg injury.

Shadab likely to miss first ODI against Zimbabwe

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said in a statement on Wednesday that Shadab had injured his left leg in the first intra-squad warm-up match last Friday (October 23).

The statement said the 22-year-old cricketer would undergo treatment and rehabilitation and a decision would be taken before the second ODI.

Pakistan and Zimbabwe will meet in the first ODI next Friday in Rawalpindi at the Pindi Cricket Stadium. The two teams will play three ODIs and T20Is in this series. All matches will be played in empty-crowded stadium.

Series schedule:

30 Oct – 1st ODI, Rawalpindi.

1 Nov – 2nd ODI, Rawalpindi.

3 Nov – 3rd ODI, Rawalpindi.

7 Nov – 1st T20I, Rawalpindi.

8 Nov – 2nd T20I, Rawalpindi.

10 Nov – 3rd T20I, Rawalpindi.
