Shakib donates another Tk. 2 million to fight coronavirus

Life has stopped. However, the attempt to stand beside the people is not stopped. Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan’s organization ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ has donated another Tk. 2 million to fight coronavirus.

Shakib has said that this money will be spent on providing food assistance to the poor and helpless people.

Joining an initiative called ‘Mission Save Bangladesh’, Shakib is donating money earned by his own organization to combat coronavirus. Earlier, Confidence group has donated Tk. 2 million to Shakib’s foundation which was used to purchase coronavirus testing kits.

In a video message from his official Facebook page, Shakib said,

“Hope everyone is healthy, safe and well. I am very pleased to report that ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ and ‘Mission Save Bangladesh’  have set up another fund worth Tl. 2 million.

“With this money, food will be provided to poor and helpless people. I hope, you too, from your side will stay beside these poor and helpless people.”

Shakib’s organization ‘The Shakib Al Hasan Foundation’ stands beside the poor people. After collecting donations from various individuals and organizations around the world, the fund is being given by an initiative called ‘Mission Save Bangladesh.’ The initiative is taken by The Daily Star, and Samakal.
