With few more days to go of the year 2017, cricket personalities are combining their best team of the year. Eminent Indian commentator Harsha Bhogle selected his best eleven of the year in which Bangladesh star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan has made a room.
In this team, there are five Indian cricketers besides two Englishmen. The rest of the spots were filled up by one Pakistani cricketers along with one cricketer each from Bangladesh, South Africa and Afghanistan.
And there is no Australian, New Zealand or West Indian cricketers in the list of Harsha Bhogle.
The innings would be opened by two hard hitter Indian openers Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan followed by captain fantastic Virat Kohli.
With AB de Villiers at number four and Mahendra Singh Dhoni at five, the team is powered by big hitters even at number six. England’s Ben Stokes adorns the spot while all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan made his place at seven down.
Vibrant pacers Liam Plunkett of England and Hasan Ali of Pakistan will open the bowling attack. And there are two back up spinners as well, Jasprit Bumrah and Afghanistan’s young spinner Rashid Khan.
