Without a prime weapon of the country, team Bangladesh is all prepared to encounter South Africa in the two match Test series. Chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu opined the other day, Shakib’s absence weakens the team mentality in the tough tour to come.
On the contrary, Shakib Al Hasan said things would not be much different without him.
How well Bangladesh could do in the tour? Shakib said it is hard to predict, “It would be really tough to say. The Test will be hard for us. I think we have much better chance in one day series. The T20 series will also be difficult. We did not play in that condition for last 6-7 years. Normally everything will appear much rough for us.”
When he was asked about his venture in this short intermission, Shakib said all he will do is to stay out of cricket for a while.
“I’ll spend time with my family; perhaps would plan to have a vacation tour somewhere, will spend some times with friends as well,” he said.
“I will start the preparation for the one day and T20 series after some time,” he added.
