Spinners took on the charge after Abu Jayed Rahi bowled the first over. Shakib Al Hasan and Mehidy Hasan Miraz duo bowled a handful of overs on a pitch which turned early on. Miraz broke through with the wicket of Devon Smith.

Chances were created often after the fall of first wicket even though Kraigg Brathwaite and Kieran Powell put on a half-century stand. Powell was trapped lbw by Miraz for 29.

The tourists could not get anymore wickets. Windies are slightly ahead with wicket looks to be drying up. The hosts are 79/2 in 35 overs at lunch. Brathwaite has batted 117 balls for his 33* runs. Shai Hope is new at the crease at 11*
