In the aforementioned match, some enthusiastic chatter by Rishabh Pant behind the stumps ignited bizarre controversies of match fixing during the Indian Premier League.

At the Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium on Saturday, the wicket keeper batsman courted controversy after being caught on the stump mic making a small prediction.

Pant was caught on the stump mic, saying “yeh to waise bhi chauka hai” in the fourth over of the match.

The very next ball was hit for a four by Robin Uthappa off the bowling of Sandeep Lamichhane.

The video of the incident started routing in the social media with many fans claiming that the match was “fixed”.

The match was eventually tied after Delhi Capitals scored 185/6 in their allotted 20 overs chasing a target of 186.

To decide in the Super Over, Delhi Capitals scored 10 runs after batting first. In reply KKR were restricted to seven runs as big hitters like Dinesh Karthik, Andre Russell and Robin Uthappa all failed to manage hits in the run.
