Sri Lanka Emerging team to tour Bangladesh in August
Sri Lanka Emerging cricket team will arrive in Bangladesh on August to participate in a bilateral series.
The island nations’ emerging cricketers will appear in a three match one-day series and two match four day series in the tour starting from 19th of August.
The just concluded bilateral limited over series between these two countries was scheduled to take place later in the year in December but since the recent terrorist attack, Sri Lankan Cricket Board arranged the series in an earlier date.
During the series, the bilateral connection between the emerging teams of two countries was revealed.
According to the schedule, the one-day series will start on August 19 followed by the second match in 21st of August. The third and final limited over match will be held on 24th of this month.
The ground of Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) is the selected venue for the first two matches while the final limited over encounter including the two four day matches will take place in Khulna.
The first four day match will start from 27th of August and the second and last match to be started from 3rd of September.
