Stats: Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka 1st Test, Day 1

A number of milestones were achieved by Bangladesh on day one-
1- 374/4 is the highest score by Bangladesh on day one of a Test match. The previous best was 365/8 against West Indies in Khulna in 2012.
1- Mushfiqur is the only batsman to score over 1000 runs at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. He has 1090 runs at 47.39 in 14* Tests.
2- Mominul scored his second 150+ score in Tests.
2- Mominul’s 175* is the second-highest score by a Bangladeshi batsman in a day’s play. Shakib Al Hasan scored 212 on day two of Wellington Test last year during his route to country’s best-ever 217. Shahriar Nafees previously held the record of most runs on the first day, 138 vs Australia in 2006.
3- Mominul and Mushfiqur put on 236 runs for the third-wicket, the highest for this wicket for Bangladesh. The previous best for this wicket was 157 by Tamim and Mominul.
4- The 236-run Mominul-Mushfiqur stand is the fourth-highest partnership for any wicket in Bangladesh history. It stands next to Mushfiqur and Mohammad Ashraful’s 267.
4- Mominul has hit four centuries at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Only Tillakartne Dilshan, Sachin Tendulkar and Imrul Kayes have two hundreds at this venue.
5- Mominul has now five Test centuries. Mushfiqur (5), Ashraful (6) and Tamim (8) have five or more Test hundreds.
25- Number of half-centuries Tamim has in Tests, the most for a Bangladeshi. Habibul Bashar scored 24 fifties.
47- Number of innings Mominul has taken to complete 2000 Test runs, the quickest by a Bangladeshi. Tamim had taken 53 innings.
