Steyn ensures visiting Pakistan to play in PSL 2020

The fifth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is all set to start from 20th February. It would be a memorable event for PSL as the tournament has entirely been shifted to Pakistani soil after long awaiting.

On Sunday, South African superstar Dale Steyn announced he will soon arrive in Pakistan to join in PSL 2020. Steyn will be playing for Islamabad United.

In a short video message in his official twitter handle, Steyn who has made his comeback for South Africa after long absence duo to injury troubles, said, “Hello everybody in Pakistan. Just a quick message to say that I am super excited to come over and join Islamabad United.”

The first match of the league will take place between defending champions Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.

This year, Islamabad United are adorned with prolific international stars the like of Colin Ingram, Dawid Malan, Philip Salt, Colin Munro, Luke Ronchi and Dale Steyn.

However, Steyn’s availability in PSL will be a boost for Pakistan as the country’s cricket authorities are trying hard to bring the game back in their yard.
