Stokes apologizes for mocking disabled child

Ben Stokes falls to knee trouble ahead of Champions TrophyOn Wednesday, English all-rounder Ben Stokes apologized to Television personality Katie Price and her son Harvey for apparently mocking the disabled boy of Katie.

Stokes said he felt sorry and conveyed message in twitter, “I should have never done this and I am so sorry.”

“It was absolutely not my intention to offend Harvey, Katie or anybody else,” he said.

“I have written to both Harvey and Katie to say sorry and prior to this offered to meet in person at the end of last month with a view to also getting behind their petition about online bullying,” Stokes said. “I do hope I can put this right.”

To much frustratingly for Ben Stokes, his sponsorship deal with New Balance has been terminated also.

The American company said in a statement, “New Balance does not condone behavior by our global athletes that does not match our brand culture and values, and therefore we have ended our relationship with Ben Stokes, effective October 11, 2017.”

The England Test vice-captain is now in a suspension period following the investigation on his breach of behavior in Bristol last month.

The premier super star of English cricket is also under threat of missing the 2017 Ashes series.
