Sylhet Sixers make full payment to cricketers

New franchise Sylhet Sixers assembled examples of good organization in their very first participation in the Bangladesh Premier League. On Monday, the authority of Sylhet Sixers paid the full payment to all cricketers of the team. According to the rule of BPL governing council, all the franchise teams are bound to pay cricketers fully within a month of ending the tournament.

Sylhet Sixers chairman Shahed Muhit informed to online portals, “Although it is our first appearance in BPL, we tried to form a strong team combination. We are happy for the team’s performance this year; like supporters of Sylhet Sixers, we also hoped for further progression in the tournament.”

He also said, “By paying full to the cricketers, we thrive to message everyone that Sylhet Sixers have joined with full professionalism who prioritize cricketers’ interest more than anything.”

Sylhet Sixers launched their season campaign dramatically with successive wins in the first phase of the tournament but ended at fifth among seven contenders.
