T20I Ranking: Equations between Bangladesh and Windies

The Caribbean tour is closing in for Bangladesh – there is one more series to go, the three match T20I series, the format in which the visitors are yet to gain moderate excellence.

The home team, carrying 114 points, are standing at the seventh place of the ranking while Bangladesh are far beyond; at 10th place with 70 points. If the Tigers would grab at least one win in the series, they will gain added rating points.

If Bangladesh could win the series 2-1: A 2-1 series win for Bangladesh would cost 8 rating points for West Indies leading the visitors to achieve 76 points all together.

If Bangladesh could win 3-0: If Bangladesh could make a clean sweep in the series, they will gain 10 rating points to lift them up in 80 although even that would not result in lifting up in the ranking, the team led by Shakib could shorten the distance with other subcontinent rival Sri Lanka who are in number nine with 85 points.

If West Indies could whitewash Bangladesh: Windies could not gain much even winning in a 3-0 margin. In that case, the home team will have one more added points.

If West Indies could win 2-1: A 2-1 series win also cost Windies 4 rating points which would down them with 110 points.
