Tamim Iqbal had a chance to reach 7000 runs in the previous match against Rangpur Riders in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). He was dismissed that day for just 5 runs. The star batter of Bangladesh reached this milestone in the next match today.
The left-handed opener of Khulna Tigers entered the 7,000-run club by hitting a boundary in the fourth over of the match against Chittagong Challengers on Friday. Tamim made this feat as the first batter of Bangladesh in T20 cricket.
