Taskin presses on proper execution Down Under

The next mission is New Zealand tour, a place where he made his Test debut. Another challenge beckons the 25-year-old.

“To be honest, every series is a challenging to me. But the main thing should be the focus. I should get to my target. As a pacer I want to maintain my pain and accuracy alongside getting basics right for execution,” Taskin told the reporters on Monday.

“I have played in New Zealand twice – World Cup and the series [in 2016-17]. Whichever the team goes faces challenge there. Be it a bowler or a batsman, doing well in New Zealand is not easy. The condition always favours the home side which makes it tough for the oppositions. But we have to give our best and be proactive.”

Taskin still lives the dream of contributing to the national side, which is a motivation to his working process.

“Of course, it’s a big thing for me because I always want to play for Bangladesh team. At the end of the day, this is the dream of mine. This is on the back of my hard work.”
