Taylor returns for SA, Bangladesh tours
Zimbabwe have named strong squad for Bangladesh tour as veterans Brendan Taylor, Sean Williams and Craig Ervine make return for the upcoming tours in South Africa and Bangladesh.
The trio last played international cricket for Zimbabwe at the World Cup Qualifier which was held at their home. Sikandar Raza was not picked following a dispute with the board.
Hamilton Masakadza will lead the side across formats in both series. Graeme Cremer was sacked as captain after the World Cup Qualifier. Cremer was unavailable due to his recent knee surgery.
A number of Zimbabwean players pulled out of national team due to pay dispute with Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC). They lost all of tri-nation T20I series (with Pakistan and Australia) and five ODIs to Pakistan at home.
Zimbabwe have all-rounder Solomon Mire and pacer Kyle Jarvis back to the squad after recovering from injuries.
Zimbabwe will be touring South Africa for three ODIs and three T20Is from late September to mid-October. They will head to Bangladesh straightway for three one-dayers and two Tests.
