Tendulkar stands up for 560 underprivileged children


Former Indian cricketer and legend of the game Sachin Tendulkar has come forward in support of 560 underprivileged children by collaborating with an NGO.

Sachin suggests to introduce new ball after every 50 overs
Sachin Tendulkar has always been labelled as one of the greatest gentlemen to play the game of cricket. He was humble and helpful both on and off the field. After his retirement, he still remained the same. He recently collaborated with a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) to help 560 tribal children from economically backward section.

The Master Blaster has joined hands with ‘NGO Parivaar’, which has set up Seva Kutirs in villages at the Sehore district of Madhya Pradesh. The children Sachin pledged to serve are mostly from Barela Bhil and Gond tribes.

A press released stated – “This initiative by Sachin is testimony to his concern towards tribal children in Madhya Pradesh who have been plagued by malnutrition and illiteracy.”

Sachin continuously kept helping the needy people in his pandemic. He donated 25 lakhs each to Prime Minister’s Relief Fund and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. He also promised to feed 5000 people for a month. A non-profit organisation named Apnalaya also thanked him for doing his bit.

“Thankyou,@sachin_rt for stepping in & helping Apnalaya help the ones suffering the most during this lockdown. He will be taking care of the ration of around 5000 people for a month.”

In reply to it, Sachin wished them all the best and asked to continue the good work in this tough time.

“My best wishes to @ApnalayaTweets to continue your work in the service of the distressed and needy. Keep up your good work,” he tweeted.
