The BCCI has moved away from the idea of Asia Cup and is now thinking about the World Cup and IPL. If not the World Cup, the country’s board wants to finalize the decision on the IPL. In that case, Sri Lanka or the United Arab Emirates may be chosen as the venue instead of India.

“We are waiting for the decision of the ICC,” he added. Let’s see when they make the final announcement. After that we will decide on IPL. We are keeping in mind that the IPL can be done if the situation improves in October-November. I don’t see the possibility of cricket starting before then.” Said Sourav.
