The secret is ‘no secret’ for Rashid Khan

Before taking part in their opening Test in their history, Afghanistan are flying high in Dehradun outsmarting Bangladesh in the first match of the T20I series. It was no surprise watching the opposition batsmen tumbling down against Afghan spinners for the trio Rashid – Nabi – Mujeeb has been growing in skills and confidence over the time.

Among them man of the match Rashid Khan revealed the secret behind the success which is ‘no secret’ at all.

“It was about keeping everything simple,” he said.

“What I’ve done in last two-three months. I don’t have any specific plan. I keep it simple. Just to bowl little bit back of length, not too full,” Rashid Khan termed out his prudence.

“I’m just enjoying myself that is the key thing. It was a good surface, ball was gripping, and little bit dew was there. We have just played IPL. That’s the biggest stage. If you perform well there, it gives you the confidence,” he said.

Afghanistan are one up in the three match series beating Bangladesh by 45 runs in the first match in Dehradun on June 3.
