Tigers have nothing to prove : Taijul Islam

The current Bangladesh cricket team is now packed with performers. Most of the cricketers are in a very good form and making life harder for others to secure room in the squad.
However, off-spinner Taijul Islam is taking it as a positive sign and said that he is ready to make his own room in the team fighting with other competitors.
“The competition to make place in the team has been increased rather than other times. We have world class pace bowlers in the side. They are now doing well for the team beside the spinners. But I want to cement my place by performance,” said Taijul Islam.
He also added that judging someone, specially a bowler just by the performance of a single series or tournament wouldn’t be appropriate.
“It will not right to judge a bowler just by the performance of one series or match. I don’t perform well in the last one-off Test. But nobody can assure that this will not go on in the next series,” said the Natore-born lad.
He also added that they have nothing to prove outside of the country as they reached the quarterfinal stage of the World Cup in Australia-New Zealand beating stronger teams.
“We have nothing to prove. We have already shown the world during the World Cup what we are capable of when we beat stronger sides on our way to making to the quarterfinals.”
