Twitter erupts as Rabada hurls abuse at Quinton de Kock
Hurling abuse at your own teammate is something not acceptable by any means as it is deemed contrary to the spirit of gentleman’s game. At times, it is quite tough to control yourself in tense situations and you vent out emotions just like that without even thinking about others.
This has what happened during the 2nd Test match between India and South Africa. Kagiso Rabada was not pleased with how things went out on the field and as a result, he used some cuss words at Quinton de Kock.
It all started after Quinton de Kock’s drop in concentration which gifted India an extra run. Rabada who witnessed this had lost his cool and exchanged few words with the Proteas wicket-keeper.
It is not so easy for overseas fast bowlers to find some solutions bowling in the Indian conditions. The pitches haven’t really been suitable for them as it has been favourable only for the batsmen.
Kagiso Rabada has by far bowled a fierce spell, spanning 30 overs and claimed three wickets to his name. Despite all his efforts in taking wickets, he has rather been unfortunate on the field with many chances falling short of fielders.
When Rabada came to bowl in the 123rd over, Ravindra Jadeja had blocked a ball straight back to him and after which, Rabada had reverted back to the keeper.
With Quinton de Kock losing prime focus at that instant, the ball went beyond him, thereby allowing India to steal an extra run. Rabada was absolutely furious by this incident and he vent out his frustration at de Kock commanding him to “Watch the f****** ball”.
De Kock, who couldn’t really take this, replied back to Rabada and the duo was involved in heated debate before things finally restored back to normal.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the heated incident:

The language used by Rabada is disgusting and sets a terrible example for our youngsters. Quinton de Kock is not watching the ball so I don't blame him but not on TV please. This is all indicative of Faf du Plessis’ captaincy standing with his arms folded SIS!!! @OfficialProteas

Rabada and de kock are not doing good together. This is not a very good sign for Faf as a captain. Rabada is looking frustrated. #INDvsSA
