Twitter goes wild after a cracker of World Cup final
England won their first-ever ICC Cricket World Cup after a tie in the super over itself against New Zealand at Lords.
The game between bat and ball never fails to bring something out of the box which are highly celebrated by the people around the game. One such a thing is the final of ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 between England and New Zealand.
Both the teams ended up at 241 in their allocated 50 overs and the match went for a super over. The best part of the game was there as the super over was also ended in a tie as Martin Guptill was run out when running for the winning runs.
Following a cracker of a match, here are some interesting tweets about the match in Twitter:
Stokes won that with his bat in more ways than one. But the way the Kiwis came back into the game was an absolute treat at the highest levels of the sport. The Home might have won the cup, but the ex-Colony was no less worthy! 🏴🇳🇿 #WhistlePodu #CWC19Final #NZvENG 🦁

Who says cricket is boring
Edge of the seat. Swung both ways. Some luck in the end. How many sports go down to the very last ball of a tournament.
Unlucky New Zealand.
Well played England throughout. And what a show from Stokes.

New Zealand must be feeling as if fate was against them today:
4 additional runs from the overthrow when the ball hit Stokes bat
