Twitter reacts after India announce 15-man squad for World Cup


The Board of Cricket Control in India (BCCI announced 15-man squad on Monday for the upcoming World Cup in England.

India has never lost a match at Nagpur venue and with this 8-run victory, the Blues have beefed up the record.
The countdown has finally come to an end and so as the unanswered questions as India have announced the 15 players who are going to England for the cricket’s biggest event.

Wicket-keeper batsman Dinesh Karthik has been preferred over Rishabh Pant while all-rounder Vijay Shankar over Ambati Rayudu. With the inclusion of Vijay, there are now three all-rounders in the side including Hardik Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja.

The deadly leg-spinning duo Kuldeep Yadav and Chahal have also been included in the squad while three pacers Mohammad Shami, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Jasprit Bumrah are in the side.

When asked about the inclusion of Vijay over Rayudu, BCCI said –

“We did give a few more chances to Rayudu but Vijay Shankar gives three dimensions. He can bat, if the conditions are overcast he can bowl, plus he is a [good] fielder”
