With the toe injury ruling Vijay Shankar out of the World Cup, everyone expected Ambati Rayudu would be picked but unfortunately, he was snubbed once again as opener Mayank Agarwal was called in as Vijay Shankar’s replacement.

After being upset by the BCCI’s call, he has now announced retirement from international cricket.

In an unexpected tweet on Tuesday, Iceland cricket had offered Rayudu permanent residency in their country so that Rayudu can play for them after knowing that he has no chance to make the cut in the Indian team.
