Twitter reacts to Umesh Yadav’s accurate throw to run Rabada out
Not only spinners but also pacers are turning out to be ultimate weapons in the Indian cricket team that is easily toying South African side. Umesh Yadav has been doing real justice to is role.
Thanks to his strong arms, which not only helps him to bowl well and hit big hits but also execute sharp throws to run-out a batsman too and that’s what exactly had happened on Day 3 of the match at the JSCA Stadium, Ranchi.
Umesh Yadav was so sharp on the field and he managed to run Rabada out from the mid-off.
Not to forget the fact that Umesh Yadav stunned the cricket fraternity by scoring 31 off 10 balls which included five sensational sixes. Once again, in South Africa’s first innings, Yadav pulled off a direct throw which ended up getting the batsman to walk back to the dressing room.
Kagiso Rabada who was yet to get off the mark with South Africa reeling under pressure at 130/7, middle Ravichandran Ashwin’s delivery by hitting it towards mid-off region where Umesh Yadav was fielding. The latter had initially dived towards the fast-moving ball but was unable to stop the ball properly as he fumbled a little before he could collect the ball.
However, despite making the half-stop, in no time he pulled off a sensational direct hit which was enough for him to run Rabada out who was running towards the non-striker’s end.
