Two reasons for delaying to announce final ODI squad

The 20 members pool of Bangladesh cricket team for the upcoming ODI series have started their final training session from Sunday. Afghanistan series is knocking at door, so Mashrafe Mortaza  and his co are busy to complete their all necessary tasks within this time. Although, 20 cricketers are participating in this final camp, 14 cricketers will be selected in the ODI squad for the upcoming ODI series.

Earlier, It was supposed that the final squad of 14 cricketers would be declare on Sunday or Monday. But, the selectors are making delay to publish the final ODI squad of Tigers. It has learnt that there are two reasons for what selectors are taking long time to publish the final ODI squad.

First of all, the results of Taskin Ahmed’s bowling action review test are yet to be published. Selectors alongside with the head coach of Bangladesh national cricket team are wishing to include him in the ODI squad. As a result, they are taking long time. It is supposed that the results of his review bowling action test will publish on September 22. And, after getting this results, selectors will publish their final ODI squad for Afghanistan series.

In the contrary, Tamim Iqbal, the dashing opener of Bangladesh who has been recovered from finger injury and joined with the Tigers on final training on Sunday to know his physical condition selectors are taking long time to publish their final ODI squad. Although, Tamim has started batting practice from today, till he has to wait for the results of CT scan of his finger.
