Mustafizur is also signed by Sussex for county cricket. But still there is doubt whether Bangladesh Cricket Board(BCB) will give NOC(No Objection Certificate) to the Fizz. BCB will sent him to England by observing his fitness. Few days ago BCB President Nazmul Hassan Papon gave an indication that Mustafizur will not be given NOC so that he can rest.

It is not yet confirmed that the Cutter Master will go straight to England after finishing IPL as he needs rest after a busy cricket year. Mustafizur fell to side strain injury during the Asia Cup as he missed the games against Pakistan and India(Final). He just played the last three matches for Bangladesh in World T20.

After recovering from injury, Mustafizur Rahman is now in India. He is supposed to fly to England just after the IPL. The NatWest T20 Blast will start on 20th May where Sussex will play against Gloucestershire at Bristol. Mustafiz will miss the first NatWest T20 Blast due to IPL.

However, if BCB does not allow Mustafizur to play NatWest T20 Blast for Sussex, he can be given permission to play Royal London One Day Cup.

Akram Khan spoke to Dhaka Tribune, “A decision is still pending on Mustafizur’s participation in county cricket this season but then again it is his personal decision, we can only make suggestions”.

Sussex team is ready to receive Mustafizur Rahman in England. Mustafiz will be the third Bangladeshi to play county cricket.
