Under 19 World Cup to be held in Bangladesh

Bangladesh will host the next ICC under-19 World Cup that is to be held in 2016. This decision has been finalised in this year’s  very first board meeting of ICC in Dubai. The under 19 World Cup is scheduled to be taken place in-between January 22, 2016 to February 14, 2016. The cricket governing body has also approved the dates for major tournaments for the next four years, up to the 2019 World Cup in England. According to the press release floated by ICC earlier today, England will also host the 2017 Champions Trophy one-day tournament and India the 2016 World Twenty20 while Bangladesh will get the opportunity of hosting the ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in 2018 as well, which will be taken place in-between March 1 to April 4 of the year.

Mustafa Kamal, ICC President, Narayanaswami Srinivasan, ICC Chairman and David Richardson , ICC Chief Executive along with representatives from every cricket playing nations were present in the board meeting at ICC headquarters in Dubai while filing these decisions official.
