Vaughan picks Test cricket greatest ‘Bald XI’

Former England captain Michael Vaughan has made a list of XI with all the bald-headed cricketers which he named ‘Test cricket greatest Bald XI’.

Vaughan picked his country’s legendary batsman Graham Gooch as the opener of the team. Gooch scored over 13,000 runs in his international career. Herschelle Gibbs will be Gooch’s partner in the opening slot. The former South African opener had a great career in Proteas’ jersey with over 14,000 international runs.

Another South African Hashim Amla will come at no. 3 position. Amla retired from international cricket last year. He has a very successful career with over 18,000 runs and 55 centuries in international cricket. He’s considered as one of the finest batsman in South Africa cricket history.

Then Vaughan picked former Australian star all-rounder Darren Lehmann which is followed by another English batsman Jonathan Trott at no. 5. At no. 6 position, former England captain Brian Close was selected. Vaughan also gave the captaincy role to Klose.

Vaughan’s XI dominated by English cricketers as he chose another English batsman Matt Prior at no. 7. Prior served England as wicket-keeper batsman for a long a time. In the next two position, Australia’s pacer Doug Bollinger and spinner Nathan Lyon made Vaughan’s XI.

For the next position, Vaughan selected Pakistan’s pacer Naved-ul-Hasan. And Vaughan himself got confused to select the 11th position of the team as he picked both England’s current spinner Jack Leach and former New Zealand pacer Chris Martin for that position.
