During one of the international series, no coaching staff of Bangladesh has ever been seen giving leave without great need. Vettori did not show any immediate cause.

Didn’t he go to home after series end against Zimbabwe? Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) chief executive Nizamuddin Chowdhury said Vettori has returned home during the rules of the contract. Because the BCB contract with him is 100 days. BCB wants to use those 100 days in an important series.

Nizamuddin Chowdhury said,

“The deal with him is according to days. There are no pre-series or post-series issues here. He will work according to the agreement. If we add extra days to this series, that too will be within his contract.”

Vettori is very expensive among the coaching staff of Bangladesh team. His daily salary, including income tax, is about $ 3,000 (about Tk. 2.5 lakh in Bangladeshi money). The former Kiwi captain will receive a salary of around Tk 2,54,0000 million a year from the BCB in a 100-day contract.
