The wicket-keeper batsman, Glenn Phillips stole all limelight when he smashed a 46-ball century during the 2nd T20I game against West Indies. However, his flying catch to dismiss Kyle Mayers stunned everyone.
On the over off Jimmy Neesham, the left-handed hard hitter, Kyle Mayers smashed a powerful shot in leg side. When everyone thought the ball would reach the boundary rope, Phillips stunned everyone by completing an unbelievable catch.
Coming to the match, the hosts posted a mammoth target of 239 runs in 20 overs with the help of Glenn Phillips’ swashbuckling knock. While chasing this huge total, the Windies could score only 166 runs from 20 overs.
The destructive opener, Martin Guptill scored 34 runs from 23 deliveries with the help of five boundaries and two massive sixes. While Phillips smashed 108 runs off 51 balls, Conway plundered 65 runs from just 37 balls with the help of four boundaries and four sixes.
When all the Windies batsmen failed to score against the New Zealand pacers, the skipper Kieron Pollard and Keemo Paul played small cameo knocks while chasing the huge total.
