In the 25th match of the league stage, Delhi Capitals took on Kolkata Knight Riders at Ahmedabad. Delhi Capitals skipper Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to bat first. After being put in to bat first, Kolkata Knight Riders managed to score 154 runs in the 20 overs with a little cameo from Andre Russell towards the end.

Chasing down the target of 155, Delhi Capitals’ openers provided a fiery start for the team. The right-handed opening batsman Prithvi Shaw smashed six fours in the first over of the innings bowled by Shivam Mavi. On the other hand, the left-handed opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan provided the support and anchored an easy chase for Delhi Capitals.

Meanwhile, in the 11th over, Shikhar Dhawan and Kolkata Knight Riders wicket-keeper Dinesh Karthik were involved in a funny scene. The third ball of the over bowled by Varun Chakravarthy was misjudged by the left-handed batsman and it went to the hands of the wicket-keeper. Karthik eventually stumped and appealed.

The funny part is that the wicketkeeper had an animated appeal pointing towards the batsman. Shikhar Dhawan reacting to the appeal gave an amusing reaction to the appeal by kneeling down on the field. That created a funny moment there and both the players shared some sort of light moments between them. The video is going viral among fans on social media.
