Video: Jadeja dances on pitch after receiving warning from umpires


Ravindra Jadeja has been hitting the headlines for controversial reasons since the past couple of months. It all started when he took Sanjay Manjrekar’s tweet of ‘bits and pieces cricketer’ seriously and ripped Sanjay apart by bits and pieces with a sensational performance in the World Cup 2019 campaign.

Not a long ago, Jadeja retweeted a fan’s tweet criticising Virender Sehwag for ignoring Jadeja’s noteworthy performances. Now, during the second Test of the ongoing Test series between India and South Africa, on Day, Jadeja was found guilty of speeding on the pitch and because of which he was given an official warning by the umpires.

Needless to say, Jadeja was once again was seen running on the middle of the pitch and just as he attempted to take a single, Jadeja realized his mistake and he quickly leapt towards his left to ensure that he doesn’t run on the pitch once again. However, his mistake ended up like a dance step which left everyone in stitches.

Had Ravindra Jadeja been found guilty of the incident once again, South Africa would have received 5 runs at the start of their innings as a penalty to the Indian team. It should be noted that during New Zealand’s tour of India in 2016, Jadeja was found guilty of the same incident and had cost five runs to his team.

Jadeja once again stole the show in this second match as he scored his 12th Test half-century and helped India to post 601/5 dec. The all-rounder ended up scoring a scintillating 91 (104) with the help of eight fours and two sixes and missed out on a well-deserved century by 9 runs.

Jadeja shared a 225-run liaison for the fifth wicket alongside skipper Virat Kohli who ended up scoring 254* (336), smashing 33 fours and two sixes.
