Video: MS Dhoni scores century during CSK’s practice match

MS Dhoni was last seen playing for India in the ICC Cricket World Cup in England last year. Since then, he made him unavailable for the team selection as he took a sabbatical from international cricket. The former Indian captain MS Dhoni is having a great time ever since he arrived in Chennai.

First, he smashed five consecutive sixes in the nets and now he took his batting to next step in intensity to score a sensational century during Chennai Super Kings’ practice match. It was so good to see MS Dhoni making good sound with the bat. It is good for India and for CSK.

Earlier, the newly-formed Sunil Joshi-led selectional panel made it clear that MS Dhoni should perform well in order to make himself available for the national team selection so that he can play the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2020 and MS Dhoni is doing exactly that as he is making sure that he is in good space.

The match was neither telecasted nor the full scorecard of the same was available. But there were reliable reports of MS Dhoni scoring a scintillating century as he ended up scoring a blistering 123 (91) in the practice match.

A video which surfaced on YouTube shows glimpses of MS Dhoni’s innings from that practice match. MS Dhoni can be seen batting with Suresh Raina against Piyush Chawla and Karn Sharma.

MS Dhoni will lead his team in IPL 2020’s tournament opener against defending champions Mumbai Indians on March 29 at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
