VIDEO: Virat Kohli emulated AB de Villiers’ 360-degree shot

The skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli and his teammate AB de Villers are arguably one of the best friends. After playing with AB de Villiers for a long time, Virat Kohli finally played a ‘360’ degree shot. Just after that shot, Virat pointed out at de Villiers to show that he too can play that kind of shots.

Coming to the match, the skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore, Virat Kohli decided to bat first after winning the toss against Chennai Super Kings. They wanted to put a big score on the board but they got a huge blow as their opener Aaron Finch got out cheaply.

However, the left-hander Devdutt Padikkal and his skipper built a good partnership in the middle overs. After losing the wicket of Padikkal, the Royal Challengers Bangalore lost their another important player in the form of AB de Villiers who registered a duck.

While they were losing the wickets at one end, the skipper of RCB, Virat Kohli kept scoring the boundaries at the other end. The best batsman of the team plundered 90 off just 52 balls which helped them to post a decent total of 169 on their board.

With Chennai Super Kings chasing a moderate target of 170, they lost their openers cheaply. Washington Sundar, who has been brilliant with the ball, dismissed both the in-form openers and put pressure on the middle-order batsmen.

Though Ambati Rayudu and Jagadeesan built a partnership, it was not enough to bring down the required run rate. Apart from Rayudu and Jagadeesan, everyone failed to perform against the bowling lineup of RCB and went on to lose by 37 runs.

The South African all-rounder, Chris Morris who played his first game of the season, picked up 3 wickets and Sundar grabbed 2 wickets while Isuru Udana and Yuzvendra Chahal picked up a wicket each.
